I've been quite busy with work these days, but I am still managing to find time to crochet. It's just very short spurts and then I always forget to post here about any finished work. I recently completed two blankets that I'm absolutely in love with. The first blanket I have named Roderigo. This blanket is a custom order from one of my co-workers. She and I picked out the colors together and she put them in the order she wanted. Here is the finished product!
I used Attic24's neat ripple pattern and the blanket is roughly 40" x 60". I don't ever count how many chains I use to start, I count out the 14 each until it is as wide as I want it. I love how it turned out and so does she!
One of the other blankets that I've had on my hook for a little while is this one. I've dubbed her Delilah. I used Attic24's Cosy Stripe pattern. Caron One Pound in Lilac, Red Heart With Love in Lilac, Vanna's Choice in Pink Poodle, I Love This Yarn in soft pink and Big Twist Rainbow Classic in Cream are the yarns used. Boarder is a camel stitch in each of the colors and then a round of bobbles in the cream color. The blanket is roughly 40" x 60" and is so soft and cozy!
I'm going to be trying to post more on here now that I've found an app for my iPhone and don't have to exclusively use the desktop. If you want to follow me on Instagram @courtneys.crafts or fb.com/courtscraftsandmore for more day to day pictures and postings.
So long for now!
